The Australian Rodent Fanciers Society of NSW held its 2012 Annual General Meeting on 8 December 2012. As a result of this meeting, we have a new Committee, dedicated to the successful running of the club in 2013. Your new Committee members are:
President: Carol Emerton
Secretary: Katy Jenkins
Treasurer: Jennifer Burke
Committee Members: Sharon Roche, Catherine Emerton, Tracy Lind
A huge thanks to these people for stepping forward at a difficult time for the club, we couldn't have continued without you!
We also discussed the current financial situation of the club, the issue of the second legal entity in the club's name, and the steps needed to square with the Department of Fair Trading.
I am pleased to be able to say that all the necessary financials, forms and reports have now been submitted to the Department of Fair Trading for processing. I will update when I hear back from them.
We also have some preliminary show dates for 2013. They are as follows:
February 2nd
April (Easter Show, TBA)
June 1st
August 3rd
October 12th
November 30th (?)
At the very least, you should all meet us for the February 2nd, and we will finalise the rest and post updates after they're set!
